Hope you’re both doing well and had awesome weekends. I went to a concert in Silver Springs on Friday but then had a pretty tame weekend myself! 😊

Not too many updates this go around as I had a few lengthy admin meetings last week. However, when in market, I visited Fredericksburg, Springfield, and Manassas.

Account Updates & Works in Progress:

Fatty's Taphouse, 225 Garrisonville Rd, Stafford, VA 22554

• Recently had two separate meetings with Brendan here to discuss ways to mitigate staff theft and increase volume

• I will be working to place a BOH Staff Pricing CA and provide “paid” stickers – Brendan will be imputing a “Staff Red Bull” button into the POS

• Brendan also agreed to include Red Bull cocktails into the next iteration of their cocktail menu, which I will be designing. This will include 4 Red Bull cocktails (1 per SKU) – so, they will be bringing in the additional SKUs of Red, Yellow, and Coconut over the next month or so

• Lastly, to qualify them for elite VIP, Brendan will also be bringing in SF, but this will likely be at the minimum of every 90 days as he has little interest in providing this option to his customers

Buffalo Wild Wings, 5143 Wellington Rd, Gainesville, VA 20155

• Stopped by this account as they have a cooler void.

• I will be reaching out to Key Accounts on my end to see if we can direct ship a baby cooler here. However, the manager Renzo was giving me a difficult time and would not provide any contact information. Do you happen to have a last name/email for him?

Philadelphia Tavern, 9413 Main St, Manassas, VA 20110

• Had a great conversation with the bartender here and see a lot of potential for the editions, as they are currently just carrying ED. However, I was told that the owner/decision maker, Phil, is rarely in. Do you happen to have any contact info for him?

The Harbour Grille, 13188 Marina Way, Woodbridge, VA 22191

• Met with Jesse here

• Will be redoing their Football menus to include Red Bull Vodka and Tropical Tequila, so they will be bringing in Yellow on their next order – would much appreciate if the ASM could mention this, to ensure they order, when popping in over the next week or two.

• Once I get more inventory in, I will also be upgrading the baby that is currently below the main bar to a 360 on top of the counter

Diamond Lounge, 7203 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003

• Met with Douglas

• Will be working on menus and finally getting their DiPos mounted

Coco B's, 2854 Wilson Blvd Suite B, Arlington, VA 22201

• Met with Mick and placed a Small Cooler and Shelf Glorifier

• Also had a conversation around getting a cocktail on the menu; I currently have an agreement with B Social Group (B Live, The Lot, Ballroom) but, since the Lot has not been open, will be discussing with Mike Bramson asap to hopefully slot in Coco B’s in The Lot’s place.

CJ Finz Raw Bar & Grille, 9413 West St, Manassas, VA 20110

• Was not able to speak with the owner, Chris, but I met with manager Brandon, to get some conversation going around bringing in an edition and trialing a cocktail (with long term goal of Menu Activation). There seemed to be some good potential here, so I will be keeping on this over the next few weeks.

Buffalo Wild Wings Cooler Mandate

I currently have the below locations as not having a cooler and will be stopping by into all of these locations over the next two ish weeks; I have already stopped by the Sterling/Dulles and Arlington locations but have been unable to meet with the GMs or get any contact information. Please let me know if you have any insights regarding cooler status, contact information, or good times to catch the GMs.

Big Tony’s Pizzeria & Dive Bar, 3100 Clarendon Blvd #5, Arlington, VA 22201

• New account opening in association with the Don Tito group

• They are set up with two Vertical Backbar Coolers and a Digital Poster

• Expected open is around the week of 9/11, so they should need an order around then

• Contact: Kat 607-435-9165 (Darrell Spoke with Kat and in weekly communication)

• Darrell will follow-up with this account to ensure delivery by the 11th.

Lost Dog Cafe - Dunn Loring, 2729 Merrilee Dr, Fairfax, VA 22031

• Stopped in and was told they briefly stopped carrying due to staff theft, but that they would be bringing it back in shortly. So, It would be great if someone at Lift Off could check in with this account to get this ball rolling

• Note: I did provide additional solutions for staff theft and believe they will be good to go

• This account is on my route tomorrow. I will sell-in product if they are ready. I’ll keep you informed. Do you have the name of whom you spoke with? Unfortunately I was not able to get the name/contact of whom I spoke.

Mexicali Blues, 2933 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201

• Youngji here was asking about additional editions and bringing them in. I believe the only ones she does not currently have are Red and Coconut Berry, so I spoke with her on these – If her Lift Off rep could bring this up again on the next visit, that would be appreciated!

• I will be there on Thursday. Again, I will follow-up with you after my service call.

Clarendon Ballroom, 3185 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201

• They will be holding an outdoor event (Ballroom on the Block) on Saturday, 9/23 from 2-10pm

• I am currently coordinating infrastructure support here, but wanted to call this out as they will likely require additional cases on their order prior to this event.

• They reached out to Darrell as well. We will ensure they have plenty of product.

Crafthouse Fairfax, Palace Way, Fairfax, VA

• Currently working with Logan and Vika to come up with a new cocktail feature, which I plan to leverage to gain Menu Activation as this account is on VIP (I believe the Chalk Art on their walls was previously being counted as MA, but I am trying to get on their physical Cocktail Menu)

• This account is currently on Elite VIP per Ben Colle.

Greenhouse Bistro, 2070 Chain Bridge Rd, Vienna, VA 22182

• Due to high volume, it is a target of mine to gain a Cooler Placement and a cocktail feature here, ideally setting them up for VIP

• Hamid currently is not down to commit to this, but they will be undergoing renovations in January and may be open to coolers once the bar is redone.

• This account is currently receiving Elite VIP pricing as well per Ben Colle. My understanding is that they are (were) compliant. They purchased Blue and Red from us on 6.22.23. We have placed coolers there as well. Perhaps Hamid changed some things after Ben left? Lift Off never had insights into the menu placement part of the contract. That was through Ben. Let me know how you would like to proceed. Hamid needs to know before we change his pricing if he refuses to be compliant. NO VIP would bring him from $34.69 per case to $38.19.

VIP Updates

Would it be possible to get a list of which accounts you have enrolled in VIP? This would be incredibly helpful on my end when it comes to maintaining execution and compliance, in addition to relieving some of the below questions. – See attached!!! Realize that Ben was in contact with most of these accounts.

Additionally, if there is a different route you would like me to take for getting accounts signed up onto VIP, please just let me know.
